Varebørsen was established in 1975 as a sole proprietorship by Flemming Præst, and later converted into an ApS (a Danish private limited company).
After more than 30 years, the company has passed on to the next generation.
In 2007, Nils Præst took over the activities of the old Varebørsen Kongshøj gl. mølle ApS and continues them in a new company, Vareborsen.dk ApS.
The new company continues at Lyøvej 5, but in larger premises, with a total hall area of just over 4000 square metres,
and just over 11,000 square metres of paved outdoor area as well as an office at the address.
Varebørsen is a trading company specialising in the purchase and sale of new and used industrial equipment. In our premises at Lyøvej 5, 5800 Nyborg, both our own and our customers' machines are stored.
Varebørsen sends out catalogues to Danish and foreign customers, and the website is continuously updated, both with machines for sale and customer enquiries about sourcing equipment.
If you wish to sell used equipment from a discontinued / closed production, we are very interested in hearing about it. We may be a buyer, or alternatively we could arrange a consignment agreement for the sale of the equipment, with possible storage at our warehouse in Nyborg.
Often you need more capabilities than a new "budget-friendly" machine can offer – and that's exactly why a quality used industrial machine can meet more needs than an equivalent new alternative. This is also clearly reflected in the price, as new equipment with the same functional requirements can cost considerably more.
At the same time, you contribute to more sustainable production and spare the environment from raw material extraction associated with manufacturing new equipment.
Vareborsen.dk has had this as a core part of our concept since the start, and we are proud to have contributed to a noticeable CO₂ reduction through trading in used machines for over 5 decades – it's both sound economics and consideration for the future.
Why choose to invest in used equipment?
